We envision the Serbian Philanthropic Association (SPA) to become a dedicated platform for the targeted philanthropic work to better the Serbian community.
Three strategic pillars: Creating Opportunity, Community, and Culture
Guiding Principles:
- Provide an assembly point for our community to connect so they could exchange ideas on how to help each other
- Assist others when they lack opportunities to move forward
- Enable those who are willing to contribute by providing a platform
We plan to accomplish this in several ways:
- SPA will continue to organize the Serbian Philanthropic Gala as a flagship annual event where we will promote charitable projects, help create valuable connections, and deepen the existing relationships within the Serbian community
- SPA will engage and focus on the tangible and practical projects which bring long-term improvements to the lives of Serbian people
- SPA will strive to become the platform for charitable and social impact projects that fit our mission over the course of the next 5 years, by opening a channel for individuals to propose and execute projects that are in line with our mission
