Global pandemic caused by the spread of coronavirus impacted everyone, in many ways. Inspired by the selfless acts and sacrifices of the healthcare workers coupled with a desire to support Serbian owned business in New York City, we initiated a new project. We raised the funds for restaurants Kafana, PilPil, The Consulate and Cibo e Vino to provide complimentary meals for frontline healthcare workers.
Once again, we partnered with the Ana and Divac Foundation in order to realize this project. Thanks to the kind donations and help from participating restaurants, we were able to deliver a total of 500 meals to the Bellevue Hospital Center and Ronald O. Perelman Center for emergency services.
We would like to give special thanks to the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, as well as to restaurants Kafana, PilPil, The Consulate and Cibo e Vino, and to all individuals who donated to our project and made it a great success.
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to help in such a time of need and make a small difference and contribution to the healthcare workers.
